More Bloc

Frank and I travel on. I am in Ukraine at this moment. Touring Chernobyl tomorrow. This trip has been amazing. We are certainly one of few Americans in this part of the world. I need to learn Cyrillic as this is getting tough. These photos are from the last few days. A few from Gdansk, or Danzig, in Northern Poland and a few from Lviv, Ukraine ( a truly beautiful place). In a few days, we are Moldova-bound. And just so you know, coming home soon with a smile on my face. Kiev, Ukraine.

Portrait in Krakow

After a long train ride from Gdansk to Krakow, we are wandering the town eagerly awaiting our hostel's opening. Shot this in the rain (Frank shoot/edit). Great place. On the agenda tonight...finding the LSU game. And hoping the Auburn replay official doesn't continue to hurt us. Monday we head towards Ukraine. Should be interesting. Krakow, Poland.

From Baltic to Black - The First Day

So Frank and I are venturing our way through Eastern Europe for the next 3 weeks. Thought I would share a shot from today. If you can believe it, its probably 40 degrees here right now. I am wearing two sweaters and still shivering. Everything is wonderful....food, beer, people. I couldn't be in a better place. I hope to post more through out the trip and follow with a large series in October. Warsaw, Poland.

Erica and Micheal Wedding

With Ike swirling in the Gulf, this couple decided to move their wedding up from Friday to Wednesday. They pulled together a great evening...(no rehearsal for a Catholic wedding can be confusing). As Erica put it, "improvise" was the word of the day. Everything was perfect! Gonzales, Louisiana.
