More Gustav

Some BR, some NOLA. It's not getting much new coverage, but Baton Rouge really got slammed by this hurricane. My area of town, Highland Road, lost many many beautiful trees, not to mention the countless homes that were damaged. The last image is shot from the back deck of our studio...Hopefully this is the last of the season for our part of the world. Leo and I are tired of being nomads. South Louisiana.

Chenoa and Drake Engagement

My Valentine's Day couple this year (its on a Saturday which means wedding vendors are slammed). Since I was an evacuee of sorts...they greatly accommodated me and shot this week AND allowed Leo (my Golden Retriever-just look through past posts and you will certainly find a photo of him) to walk with us on our shoot. I am really digging the downtown locations. Huntsville, Alabama.

Our tour guide and a best friend. He and I met in the 3rd grade at St. Mark's School in Shreveport....He served our country in Iraq and possibly soon to depart for more. Its hard not to be proud. New Orleans, Louisiana.

Serio, Guy, and I had the privilege to watch our military at work. My best friend growing up, we will call him Corporal Jeremy, was tasked with patrolling the 9th Ward after the storm. He invited us along for one afternoon. New Orleans, Louisiana.
